Kerrie found her passion for working with semi-precious stones 4 years ago while accompanying a friend to a Toronto Gem Show. She bought string of amethyst, and then held on to it for over a year before she took a class and learned how to turn it into jewelry.
Kerrie then worked with other stones such as aquamarine and agate, drawn to their deep blues and irregular cuts, and created her signature “nest” styled pendants as gifts for friends and family. At the encouragement of friends she hosted two jewelry shows a few years back and looks forward to designing for another show in May 2016. She is also planning to create a website for her custom pieces.
